9th april justice

Really pleased to break the non-windy period with a proper planning session in waves. I say proper planning. As proper as Boscome Pier ever is when you have shoulder to head high speed ramps every 5 metres trying to drag you on to the beach.

Amazing fun. Great to be out with tha hoodlums - Jamie, gregg, colin, mike. Even plenty of others out kiting and windsurfing including sj and pals. And good to see some keen surfers under the pier. Seemed messy and rubbish looking from the beach, but it was worth the effort when the set waves came through to clean it up - no doubt felt a lot better than it probably looked...

4.7m weather with head high ramps cross on shore. Plenty of jumping and riding, no hood or boots required. Nice.

Highlight was seeing gregg,s top turns, jamie's massive back loops from underneath and mike's face. Hilarious grins.

Anyway, there is something about a shitty rainy day overpowered cutting over swells that I almost prefer to sunshine sessions. Maybe it,s the sense of entitlement to a whiskey afterwards...

Probably the best part of the day, was when jamie reached up to pull his van door down and I thought he was going for a victory hand shake. It was a highlight moment. I didn't think that sort of thing was possible.

Looking forward to hearing that some other cats got the cream.

....she can be a cruel mistress sometimes but she keeps us keen.

You have any time on the water next week to make up for it?

the time will be made, if only the forecast would stay still it would be easier to decide which days to bail on!!

That's good to hear. I'm also a little uncertain about this low. Waiting and watching to see what happens...
