Week 1 winner

The prize for week 1 has gone to James Wilson - local beach Branksome Dene and Sandbanks (depending on the wind direction).

James wins a pair of Pat Love harness lines, which I'm sure he'll get plenty of use out of if November's weather is anything to go by.

The winner comments:

"I'm delighted to win anything, especially for using Bigsalty something i'd be doing anyway. Harness lines are always good to have. Using bigsaltys one of my prewindsurfing trip rituals and the watch list has made it a lot easier to work out where the best conditions are going to be.
Its also lead to some unplanned but memorable trips. I ended up on the Isle of Wight the sunday before last as Niton was showing 3 stars. It was a bit too good for my ability, mast high and slightly cross off, but Brook down the road was superb."

Week 2 Winner

The prize for week 2 has gone to Steve Richards, local to Portland Harbour. Steve wins The Pat Love Flying Carpet - perfect for keeping those Egyptian Cotton threads clean when changing after a session in that muddy car park.

Unfortunately, we don't have a shot of Steve doing his thing but here's what he had to say:

Week 3 Winner

The prize for Week 3 has gone to Jeff Scott, a local from Eastbourne on the
South Coast, meaning the Pat Love roof bars and car seat are winging their way to
him shortly! SOunds like Jeff's been on the front line and injured himself
so here's to a swift recovery...

Overall Big Salty Bonanza winner - Week 5

A special congratulations to Ben Murrin for winning the Big Salty Bonanza main prize of an awesome Pat Love harness.
Ben was picked at random from the database as someone who had his watchlist set up but has also and importantly referred another user to the Big Salty weather service.

Word of mouth recommendations are the best way for us to keep building up the site - so keep spreading the word and keep giving us feedback.

Ben's comments were:

"WOW! Haven't won anything in many years! The last time was in the early ninetys when I came runner up won a bottle of old spice and sweatshirt for answering where the "capital of surfing" was in the UK! Didn't get much use of out of the old spice I can say!... The harness will be another matter.
I'm new to Barnstaple and North Devon and looking forward to getting into more wave related windsurfing and so this new harness will be great for that.My last harness was bought from a kitesurfer when I lost my last one in New Zealand and was 200km from the nearest shop and desperate to go out on a windy day!"
